Join the RiverHills Moving crew
We're growing. If you're reliable, careful with people's stuff, and want to work for an owner-operated company instead of a national franchise, talk to Jackson directly. We hire one or two people at a time — and we hire when we find the right person, not just to fill a slot.
Whether you're a mover, a driver, a packer, or a crew lead with experience in the Texas Hill Country, send us a quick note and we'll set up a real conversation.

What working here actually looks like
Owner-operated, not a franchise
You work directly with the local leadership team and have a clear point of contact for questions about the role and the work.
Reliable schedule
We schedule the week ahead. No 5am text saying the job got cancelled. If a job moves, we tell you immediately.
Paid weekly, on time
Direct deposit every Friday. Tips paid same day in cash. Mileage and bridge tolls reimbursed without arguing.
Real safety standards
Working trucks, working straps, working dollies. Lift belts available. We don't cut corners on equipment because we live with the consequences.
Roles we hire for
Mover / Crew Member
Help load, transport, and unload furniture and household goods. Wrap, pad, and protect items. Show up on time and treat customers' homes the way you'd want yours treated.
Requirements: Reliable transportation, ability to lift 75 lbs comfortably, clean appearance, good attitude. Moving experience is a plus but not required — we train.
Driver
Drive a 26-foot straight truck on local and long-distance Texas and interstate routes. Manage the crew on board. Class C license is fine for most routes; CDL is a plus.
Requirements: Clean driving record, comfortable backing into tight Hill Country ranch driveways and gated-community lanes, good with paperwork (BOLs, COIs, permits).
Packer / Crew Lead
Run packing-day jobs. Lead a 2–3-person crew. Handle the customer interaction from arrival through walkthrough. Pay reflects experience.
Requirements: 2+ years of moving or packing experience, calm demeanor with customers, can teach a junior mover how to wrap a dresser without scratching it.
Don't see a role that matches but think you'd be a good fit? Email anyway — we keep resumes on file and reach out when something opens up.

Movers, drivers (CDL not required for most local routes — Class C works for our straight trucks), packers, and crew leads. We hire one or two people at a time, when we find the right person.
Do I need previous moving experience?
expand_more
Helpful but not required for general mover roles. We train. For driver and crew-lead roles, we want experience moving residential furniture and a clean driving record.
How do I apply?
expand_more
Email support@riverhillsmoving.com with your name, phone, moving experience, availability, and driver's license class. Or call (830) 329-7272. We respond to every email.
Where is the work based?
expand_more
Most jobs originate from our Boerne and Kerrville branches. We serve San Antonio, Bexar County, and the surrounding Texas Hill Country — seven counties total. Long-distance crews leave from the Hill Country and come back.
Are positions full-time or seasonal?
expand_more
Both. We have full-time year-round crew and bring on additional movers during peak season (May–September). Tell us what you're looking for and we'll be straight with you about availability.
