Fixture work begins after your staff clears product, removes personal display items, and marks which units are traveling. We review the old and new floor drawings with your fixture lead before choosing a teardown order. At the receiving store, a marked staging zone lets installers find their assigned sections without searching through merchandise cartons.

For a mall move-in, send the tenant handbook or property manager's instructions before the date is set. We check the permitted service door, dock reservation, freight elevator dimensions, cart restrictions, corridor protection, and any limits on noisy teardown. A Certificate of Insurance may be required for access. If the property allows an evening or weekend window, we can plan around that window on request. The store or landlord grants entry and confirms when common areas may be used; our crew follows the approved route.

A photo record is useful only if the labels survive the move. We photograph the complete fixture, then its connections and loose fittings, before removing parts. Labels go on concealed, removable surfaces where possible, with matching identifiers on bags and the receiving drawing. We keep hardware from different gondola runs apart, because similar brackets may have different tab patterns. Long shelves receive edge protection and are carried so their corners do not scrape finished walls.

Showcases are emptied before handling. We can remove loose shelves and wrap glass components separately, then pad the case frame and keep its keys with the labeled accessory packet. Mannequin limbs, fingers, and bases are protected as separate pieces, each tied to the correct form. At delivery, we place movable fixtures according to your marked plan and leave wall-fastened slatwall, attached lighting, and any electrical work to the fixture installer or licensed trade. Your visual merchandising lead checks heights, spacing, and final presentation after assembly.
