A customer-facing business loses money every day its doors are closed, and it usually cannot choose the day it moves. The landlord, the mall, or the franchise opening schedule sets the date. Our job is to fit the move into the window you are given and hand back a floor that is ready to merchandise, seat, or train on.

Retail and hospitality moves are fixture moves. Gondola shelving, slatwall, display tables, mannequins, glass cases, bar stools, banquettes, salon stations, and cardio machines all need different handling, and most of them come apart. We photograph and label fixtures before teardown so they go back together in the right order, and we keep the hardware with the fixture it came from.

Shopping centers write their own rules. Centers around La Cantera and The Rim, the Alamo Quarry area, the Pearl, and downtown near the River Walk often limit moves to hours when shoppers or diners are gone, restrict which doors and corridors a crew may use, and ask for a Certificate of Insurance before the crew is allowed on site. Some of the work belongs to licensed trades, and we say so up front. Anything plumbed, gas-fed, refrigerated, or wired into the building is disconnected by the licensed plumber, electrician, or refrigeration tech you already use, and reconnected by them at the new space. Walk-in coolers are installed, not moved. Alcohol inventory stays with the license holder. Vehicles on a dealership floor are driven by the dealership. We move what is left, which is most of the building, and we schedule around the trades so no one waits on anyone else.
